Update | Changes to PLU Rewards for Third-Party Services To help strengthen the security of your rewards programme, Plutus is making some minor adjustments. Starting June 16th, 2023, PLU Rewards will no longer be provided for transactions made through third-party services that hide the transaction description or MCC. This includes manual reward requests through Support. Additionally, Billhop has announced that they go business only as of tomorrow, June 13th. This means the same applies to the transactions made with them and will not be rewarded tomorrow onward. This adjustment will greatly contribute to combating PLU Rewards fraud whilst ensuring we can continue to scale at pace. A few examples of the affected services include Wise, Zilch, OmaPosti, and invoice payments through Post services/Kiosks. It's important to note that this is not an exhaustive list and there may be other similar services that are affected. However, we are pleased to confirm that services like Curve and Paypal, which transmit accurate information, will not be affected and can still earn PLU Rewards. For transactions made until the June 15th end of day, the Support Team will continue to verify rewards as we have done in the past.
